Vinyl flooring manufacturer Gerflor Limited has appointed Ross Johns as Health & Fitness Specialist in a new role dedicated to sales of its leading brands and new products for the sport, health and leisure industries.

Part of the global flooring group’s expansion plans for the UK, the position has been created to ‘kick-off’ a new business initiative with end-users, architects, specifiers and contractors.

Ross Johns was a natural player for the position having worked as a fitness instructor and personal trainer before a career in sales and new business development. He was impressed by Gerflor’s floorings, including its brand leading Taraflex Sports range, which was specified for London 2012. “I am looking forward to continuing my career with a company that has strong brands and wants a strategic-thinking, sales professional with health and fitness industry experience.

Ross joins Gerflor with other new starters across key areas of Gerflor’s contract and residential flooring sectors.
